Welcome to the Add IDEAS Podcast. So how do the idea idea come up? DI has always been a very bombarded industry. A lot of us don't understand the terminology, what they imply, what they mean, even though people say it is for us. And I've always believed throughout my career that if something is for you, you should understand it.
Bandile Mndebele:You know, the same principle that has always been historically nothing for us without us. So, IDEAS simplifies the language, takes away all the complexities and makes the intention clear. There's been a lot of noise in the industry globally and locally because companies are very hesitant to implement certain things and we become frustrated at the end the day because we're not going anywhere with our lives. Add IDEAS was to prompt action. We are adding inclusion, we are adding diversity, we are adding equity, we are adding accessibility and we are adding sustainability.
Bandile Mndebele:Because all of that are our ideas to be great. Our ideas to thrive not just in the workplaces but elsewhere out of work. The Podcast grows the complexities of beauty around that. For example, one of my upcoming guests, Tavani, is like a communications dude. He has done such phenomenal work in terms of transforming your self talk.
Bandile Mndebele:He's done a lot of workshops that help demonstrate the benefits of communication because we all do need communication. As a speaker, I've had to grow into speaking into a way that is supportive and conducive to the people to understand my value proposition, to understand what I need and what support can be subscribed to. All of that is about ideas. How do we communicate ideas? Without communication, everything is a disaster.
